Gardening in small spaces
My back yard is 22x18ft. So my garden is small but just right for us. My husband works for a Cabinet company and they had some drawers that were made the wrong sizes, sad for they and great for me! I drilled holes in the bottoms and filled with dirt. Most of the boxes are 2x3 ft and 15in deep I have some smaller ones too that are about 15x24in and 15in deep. In the big boxes I planted Zucchini Pumpkins, and Peppers. The smaller ones have Strawberries, Carrots and Lettuce. We also had a sunflower volunteer which was very nice!
We put the arbor that my husband and son made for the church activity and have two different kind of Clematis growing on ether sides. Some of the pictures are how the garden looks now. We have just this week had our first snow. It did not stay but not good for gardeners in early September.
I also put some other pictures with website with more ideas that I liked for small spaces. The one with the pallets my friend who has the same size of yard did that and in it planted flowers, herbs, and strawberries.
