Chicken Soup


On those cold winter days when you have a cold we love to eat my Chicken Veggie Rice Soup.



This is very easy to make. This recipe make a good amount and you can also freeze the leftovers.

12c water
3 chicken breasts
6 carrots
5 celery stocks
1c rice
1t ground garlic
3T chicken base ( I buy it at Costco by the spices or you can use the chicken cubes)
Salt and pepper to taste

Boil the chicken with some salt till all cooked. Cut the veggies in however size you like, I like small pieces so it cook faster. When chicken is done take out chicken and let cool. Add veggies to water and add garlic and more salt and pepper till it is salty enough for you. When veggies have cooked for about 7 minutes add the rice. when the veggies are soft shred chicken and add to soup.
 Than enjoy!

You can add little noodles instead of rice.
