After months of hoping and planning and praying we are actually going to move this year! We have worked hard on this home, mostly in the yard and touching up paint and packing and cleaning to get the house ready and our goal is to list sometime this month.
And no, we have not found our next home yet, but there are a few options and we need to sell our house as soon as we find the right house so we're getting our ducks in a row so to speak.
The place here looks really nice, and with some finishing touches we will be ready. I have been looking forward to this for a year, so as I pack up food storage, winter clothes and non needed items for storage I'm excited and nervous and so ready!
I feel like we're getting closer in our search, we have been looking in different areas than we had originally planned, because the housing market here is booming so much prices are high and homes are selling very quickly, the farther south we go we can find properties with more land and/or more square footage for the same price as our area, and more options.
So we hunt and have logged hundreds of miles and hours looking at different places.
I think by next month when it's my turn to post we should have some good news. The kids are excited to finally have a farm and we can have our goats and chickens at home with us again. I'm looking forward to farther away neighbors and having horses and a bigger garden!
