.....New year, new me...?

I've never really been one for making New Years Resolutions, I think goal setting for the year is more my approach. This year was no different, it goes something like this;
Pray more. Eat better. Sleep more. Laugh more. Read more. Grow more in the garden.  Make more money. Save more money. Spend less Money. Be more in the moment. Have less stuff. Show more love. Stress less. Be more polite. Smile more. Cry less. Learn more. Stay active. Think more. Say less.

 The list could go on! But you get the idea, I want more period. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I do tend to have very high expectations of myself and others....hmm, maybe less trying too hard! Lol!

I want to keep growing and evolving and I know this year will be a busy one, at least for me. I don't want to bore you with my goals for this year, so I'll just break in down in little pieces over the next few months.
  I'm teaching a weekly yoga class that has a varying array of women in different stages of life. I have learned alot about them, the average female body's flexibility and also when we tend to hold back and when test our bodies, strengths and also weaknesses. We as women tend to want to save face instead of going out of our comfort zones, but sometimes that is when we can see what we are capable of doing. There are 2 yoga poses that I want to be able to accomplish the first is this one, Straight Leg Crow.

The second one is Scorpion, this one is a very challenging pose, but I want to be able to do it!

Here is a Scorpion with straight leg. I know crazy right?! But again, one of my goals. What are your goals for this year?

I like setting goals for myself, some that I have for myself this year are: trust more in God, be more patient with myself and others and become physically fit and comfortable with my body. :)
