DIY Projects

After moving to a bigger house that has lots of wall space I knew I could make some of the projects I have been wanting to make. So here they are. I found some on Pinterest and others I just came up with.

For this I did not find a frame big enough that was not the cost of a arm and a leg. One day my Husband came home with this extra door to a cuperd that was the wrong color. So I painted it. It took a while because the color before was a very dark brown. I sprayed the whole thing with white spray pain. I think I did three coats and let it dry over night. Then I painted the gray stripes and then the yellow and last the letters. I just found the font on word that I liked and cut it out and used a pencils to outline the letters. I used a fine Paint Pen to write the letters. Here is the website where the idea came from.

These are Ikea frames. The gray ones are just the very simple ones and I bought the decorative wood part on sale at Micheal's Craft and painted them and then glued them to the frames.

My Husband made me these shelfs from some extras from a Kitchen he was building

I found a very old pallet and sanded the pieces because they were to ruff to paint on. I love how the wood turned out. Here is the site where the idea come from.
