Part two of the loft bookshelves. This is the final install of trim and shelves,
The kids were thrilled to help, and boy did they! They helped with leveling shelves, chalking, and of course prime and painting!
The weather did not want to cooperate so it took 3 days to dry and luckily I used a low Voc paint so the smell was hardly there.
The shelves are 10" wide and the 3 sections are about 41" wide, and the whole thing from floor to ceiling is 8 feet 2 inches.....I would love to know who decided that height, because come on, did you have to go 2" taller than 8 feet? or couldn't you go 6" taller
The finished and stocked shelves! I love them so much. Yeah for having a beautiful corner!
The brown shelf on the right was given to us from a friend, it is perfect to hold games, church books and bins for toys.
This room is the perfect spot for all the kids toys, books, and I love our map wall. These are maps of all the place the Hubs and I have lived or loved.
The blue room is the guest room and that is another post, another time!
