The bane of a blonde. Part 2.

So now that my hair looks great and the color has settled, and I love it! Now having darker hair I can wear more color options in clothes. like blush, or khaki and I don't look washed out, yeah!!!
Now I need to address another joy of being blonde....I have very thin, blonde, fine eyebrows!
Then along came Microblading! It is like tattooing new eyebrows on with a very small rake like bladed tool that you put pigment into the upper layers of you skin. so no needles!

Here is a link with alot more info about it.

I have a friend who does this and when she was taking new clients I jumped on her list! Her name is Katelyn McGraw and here is her info!

Katelyn was wonderful! She brought a massage table for me to lay on and had everything she would need. We talked about what I wanted, such as the color and the shape I wanted. I'm a very low-maintenance girl and I wanted a natural look that wasn't too crazy.
This me before with full make up on my face and eyebrows.

I loved that she came to my home and set up in my sewing room. My kids were in and out, and even watched some of what she did.
Here I am waiting for the Lidocain to kick in and numb my eyebrows, and Lil Man came to watch, Katelyn put tape to help enhance and speed up the numbing.

After I was pretty numb and feeling big browed, she started marking and doing the outline and shaping of the brows with a pigment pen. Followed by the actual blading. The tool looks like a tiny little rake with 4 or 5 blades that sounds like little tines or a rake and felt like she was scrapping the skin, it didn't hurt because of the Lidocaine, but I felt the pressure.

Afterwards she put on the pigment. I look like a cartoon character! I laid there while the pigment soaked in and we talked.

The after, she wiped off the extra and I'm so happy with how they looked right away!

This is the next day, they look really dark and sore, like I had a bad sunburn. The shape is not 100% perfect yet, but I wanted to do this shape and then be able to add in more later at the touch up then have them too big! Katelyn told me to leave them alone, keep it dry and to not wash them, and not rub them so they don't fade.

This is day 2. The color has faded a smidge, and I did fill in the middle and widen the middle till the arch, so I can see the shape I want as my final look.

This is day 5, and not a cute pic! They have scabbed over and starting fall off. They look so blotchy!

8 days later. the scabs have mostly fallen off, and I'm looking lopsided.

This is today. I love the color and the shape has been an adjustment, I still fill in the middle section for fullness, but I'm really happy with not having to paint on my brows everyday!
